Episode 0.2: Dennis Goh
Dennis visited a factory that the Goh-Goh Group recently acquired, not knowing that the previous owner had an “agreement” with a local crime syndicate. When he refused the deal, the mobsters snatched him to make him see reason. Dennis managed to escape with the help of an eccentric scientist, Irwin Moreau, who had been under contract with the crime boss to produce robotically enhanced roosters for cockfighting. After the cocks got loose and wreck the factory, Dennis and Irwin manage to escape with the mob boss’s personal jet… and daughter!
Episode 0.3: Zara Khan
While working for a humanitarian NGO in East Africa, Zara boarded a container ship filled with young women destined to be sold into sexual slavery. Over cocktails by the pool of a 5-star hotel, Zara convinced Dennis Goh to join her and provide his luxury yacht (with paraglider) to chase down and board the pirate vessel. Winning over a semi-sympathetic pirate named Gimpy to her side, she drew upon her Pirate Queen role to lead the young women in a mutiny.
Episode 0.4: Ian Mackenzie
After over a year in recovery, promoted Second Lieutenant Ian Mackenzie was transferred to the Middle East and defended a USMC patrol out of the USCM Al-Ahsa Forward Operations Base near the Saudi Arabian Ghawar Oil Fields. Four years in this Theater Mackenzie again rallied surviving troops and successfully counter-attacked the superior force while suffering near 70% casualties. This second major battle triggered a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder event from the San Diego Plant engagement. Ian’s seizure (and later seizures too), invoke actions similar to Celtic and Norse Berserker rages, but without the implied mindlessness. Mackenzie’s actions and orders were thoughtful, concise, and tactical. Upon stand-down USMC Second Lieutenant Ian Mackenzie immediately saw to the burial and honoring of his dead, and transfer of casualties. Surviving troops nicknamed the Lieutenant Seach Mhallachd from the Scottish Gaelic Death Bringer. Mackenzie’s actions earned him the rank of Captain.
